Q: What time does school start?

A:  K/1 Students: Our school day begins at 7:50 a.m. The school office opens at 7:15. Students arriving after 7:50 a.m. are considered tardy and will need to be checked in by an adult. 

Preschool Students: Morning session - 7:50, Afternoon session - 11:35. Students arriving after 7:50 a.m. or 11:35 are considered tardy and will need to be checked in by an adult at the front office (door labeled A2). 

Q. What time does school end?

A. K/1 Students: Our school day ends at 2:50 p.m. The school office closes at 3:30 p.m.

Preschool Students: Morning session - 10:50, Afternoon session - 2:50.

Q. Where do I drop off/pick up my child for arrival and/or dismissal?

A. K/1 Students: Students should be dropped off and picked up at the front of the building (door labeled A2). Please be respectful of others and do not park in the drop off/pick up lane if you are coming into the building. 

Preschool Students: Morning session: Students will drop off/pick up in front of the preschool wing (door labeled A1). Afternoon session: Students will drop off in front of the preschool wing (door labeled A1) and will be picked up in the K/1 car rider line (door labeled A2).

Q. How much is breakfast/lunch?

A. All of our students eat meals at no charge. 

Q. What do I do if my child will be absent from school?

A. You can call the front office to use one of your six parent notes allowed for the year or send a parent or doctors note when your student returns to school. If you have been quarantined please call the front office at 859-238-1313 and fill out THIS survey. 

Q. Can I visit my child at school?

A. Parents are invited to eat breakfast or lunch with their child.  Each teacher has different parent expectations for classroom parties/help and you will need to check with your child's teacher before coming to the classroom.
